Ellene

I’m Ellene, a decorator at heart with years of personal experience and uncredited education. I’ve studied different aspects of art and design including color theory, texture and how it applies to personality and function. Space planning is important to me and I like to discover the lifestyle and preferences of those I assist to bring together a plan that is efficient and practical. I’m a natural at organization and love helping others organize their spaces with creative ideas and attractive decor. I grew up in “construction” so I’m familiar with all the trades and their procedures. Additionally, I always teasingly say, I have a degree in HGTV (Home and Garden TV) with an estimated 31,400 hours of  viewing basic design rules and the latest design tricks. Now, that’s credibility!

In reality, I have begun a list of satisfied clients and I’m planning on working on my interior decorator certification soon.

I’ve launched Colorado Creative Decor to serve the area where I live in Northwest Colorado.  Specializing in color and fabric, space planning, organization and affordable design ideas, I am eager to transform your space utilizing creative ideas and proven basic rules of good design.
